First thoughts on Falling For You Dot Com Title and Summary The title of this story just screamed ‘romance’ to us. We can tell just from the title alone that it is going to take place in today’s digital age. It also could give off a slightly “eerie” feeling, since catfishing is a very real horror in the world of social media. However, it becomes very clear, very fast, that this story is indeed just a tale of modern day romance. The summary is very direct and gives us a clear idea of what to expect, but also hints at “temptations” that must be resisted- piquing our interest and causing us to want to dive right into this story about online dating! Plot/Storyline Falling For You.com is your average love story - but with a digital twist. The characters are well developed, interesting, and the plot is solid and informative, leaving us with very few questions as to who is who or how everything came to be the way it is for our MC and her current romantic situation. Story content and flow We really liked the flow of this story. When it picks up, our MC, Sawyer, is already good friends with the guy that she met online and our first love interest. They have been friends long enough that when he decides to surprise her by flying her out to meet him, it doesn’t feel weird or rushed. When they do meet, the author does a really good job of taking it slow with them- there are no cliche “I’m already in love with you” feels, but you can tell the characters are attracted to each other all the same. There are a handful of choices each episode. Though not many are particularly impactful, it still gives us an interactive experience and makes the story fun to read. Our only real suggestion would be use of sound or music to make things a little livelier. Errors There were some grammatical and spelling errors that, while noticeable and occasional, were not bad enough to deter us from further reading or be too disruptive. The directing had one or two errors that really may just be a quick fix, but otherwise was great and the author definitely put in some effort. Impact of the story based on the genre submitted Ffy.com has all the makings of a fun love story and many of the things that any fan of romance would look for in a story of this genre, such as more than one love interest (though one is introduced later on) . It’s also impressive that the author manages to write a romance that doesn’t feel sickeningly cliche or at least too similar to something we’ve all read before. There are a couple of scenes that were very romantic and well-described, all while staying classy yet leaving us wanting more! Recommendation We clearly recommend this story to any fan of romance! The characters are fun, the scenes are always well set and creative, and we love how it’s realistic in the sense that online relationships are a very real part of today’s dating scene. Despite the occasional grammatical error or “text talk” speech bubble, this story having you shipping pairs in no time and will definitely leave you with a warm, fuzzy feeling but also keep you laughing! Cheers,
